
APEX CLUB OF MADRAS
APEX GLOBAL VILLAGE,
Apex Club of Madras was formed in 1982. The Club adopted a Village near Madurantakam called Vilvarayanallur wherein an NGO-Â Duraisamy Generous Social Education Association (DGSEA) is running a Creche, Orphanage, Old Age Home and Free school. Around 150 students and 60 elders are benefitted from the above facilities. Grandfather of Apex India Apxn.(Late)Jack Love christened the Village as APEX GLOBAL VILLAGE.
Apex Madras is proud to be associated with the NGO DGSEA. Apex  Madras continues to support DGSEA. The Boys and Girls Hostel in the Orphanage was constructed by a work party from Australia. Apexians from Australia along with Apex Medras members physically constructed the buildings.
The building for the Old Age Home was sponsored by Government of Japan.
Rotarians, Corporates and philanthropists support DGSEA in many ways.

HOME FOR THE AGED
The new Building for the Home for the Agedwas inaugurated on 23rd June 2011. Shri Masanori Nakano the Consul-General of Japan, Ms. Keiko Kotani, Economic Development Researcher, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan, Ms.Kayoko Furukawa, Consul, Consulate-General office Chennai, Ms. A.Devikumari District Social Welfare Officer, Kancheepuramand other dignatories attended the function.

ORPHANAGE FOR BOYS AND GIRLS
members of Apex Club of Madras and their friends celebrate important occasions like, birthdays, wedding anniversaries and remembrance days with the children of the Orphanage. The children have a sense of belonging that there are souls to take care of them and the donors have the satisfaction that they have done something for the needy and the underprivileged.
